A New Day Dawns
This is a recent painting, which, like other pieces of mine, speaks to seemingly conflicting emotional states. I started this in 2019, yet have come to see it as a representation of much of how I felt during the tumult of 2020 - so much so that I’ve come to see it as a bit prophetic in nature. What I have come to interpret this as is a reminder that despite the chaos of these times, there is a larger serenity available to us, a simpler beauty, and ultimately a hope that what we are all going through will give way to something new, for as our current world burns; a new day is dawning.
Available in prints and Original Artwork - Acrylics, Colored Pencil and Marker on a 12 x 12 x 3/4 inch canvas.
